ROTARACT CLUB OF UBIDS HANDOVER OF MAGICAL LEADERSHIP TO A UNITING FORCE FOR EVEN MORE MAGIC
The 2024/2025 Rotary year has indubitably been an impactful and memorable one for all Rotary members worldwide and for beneficiaries of our Magical doings.
The 2025/2026 Rotary Year promises to be even more as we Unite for Good do more magical humanitarian works worldwide.
The Rotaract club of UBIDS (University of Business and Integrated Development Studies, Wa) is no exception! From the Magical Rotaract President Zeinab Bun-Maa Nayem to the Uniting President Raymond Kanyiti Nwiiri who will double as the Local NUGS President for the same institution, one thing is certain – The Upper West Region, Wa and UBIDS will see that indeed Rotary Is Good!
RP Raymond Kanyiti Nwiiri whose Rotary Journey began when he was at the St Francis Seminary SHS, Techiman where he served as the Charter President of the Interact Club of St Francis Seminary SHS, has kept the fire of Rotary burning and shining for all to see and feel. He became Project Director of the Rotaract Club of UBIDS as a Level 100 Student due to his selfless commitment to anything Rotary wherever he finds himself.
His vision for the club is to create more impact on and off campus and get more members from the University Community to join the Rotary family. To Unite for Good, he intends to use Rotary to solve.
Some pressing needs of the school as it is an underprivileged one for now since it was made autonomous by the University for Development Studies (UDS) few years ago.
Problems like the absence of Public Address Systems in Lecture halls, Study Summer Huts and the absence of a Printing Press on campus are what RP Raymond wants to solve in his school with the Magic of Rotary.
With his two headed leadership as Rotaract President and NUGS President for the University of Business and Integrated Development Studies in this 2025/2026 year, he is committed to ensure that audio of Rotary and Rotaract in Northern Ghana is amplified for all to hear, not just through advocacy but Action!
Through great Partnerships and selfless diligence of the Club, the year will be packed with magical, impactful and memorable initiatives and projects for students of the UBIDS campus and the inhabitants of the Upper West Region and beyond to expand Rotary’s visibility and reach and to draw more people join the greatest family ever to exist on this planet. A family and caring, generous and result oriented fellows, the best and largest Service Organisation in the world indeed!
