Over the last Thirty-Six years, He has garnered considerable experience in a far-ranging spectrum of business ventures from Construction to Oil and Gas and Health Care.
Primarily a Civil Construction Engineer, He has supervised prestigious projects such as the Construction of Jubilee House to as small as classroom blocks in remote parts of the country. He has travelled and worked in every one of the sixteen regions of Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire to a small extent.
He has therefore over the years built a network of extensive contacts in the Public, private and Political sectors of the country, an important attribute in my occupation.

David Walter limited is one of Ghana’s leading Indigenous Construction Companies. It is a Forty-Six (46) year old company that has many important projects in its portfolio of completed projects. It provides General Building and Civil Engineering Works, Building Engineering Services and Pre-Construction Services to Private, Public/Government Institutions. Today, we are the first wholly owned indigenous company to be involved directly with Railway Construction in Ghana.
Axxess Limited (1989)
Managing Director: May 1989 – Present
Specializes in offering sanitary ware, faucet, bathtub and shower rooms. Also offers original and custom tile for residential and commercial use, and are specializing in custom tile for tables, pools, kitchens and architectural designs. These include floor tile, wall tile, exterior wall tile, decoration tile, bathroom tile, kitchen tile, Plaza Tiles, out wall tiles, glazed tiles, polished ceramic tiles, glass mosaic, Polished Porcelain Tiles, etc.
Dzata Cement Limited (2011)
Executive Director: September 2011-Present
Produces quality cement for building and other construction works. Cement of Ultra-High strength for Heavy Structural applications, for blocks and precast products, plastering, block laying, general masonry applications, etc.
GOSCO Limited (2015)
Director: January 2015 – Present
Provide services to participants engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production activities (located onshore and offshore Ghana), including acting as operator in relation to such activities.

Committed to providing a holistic medical diagnostic solution to and offers high quality pathological and imaging services. Offering in-home and on-site mobile collections for laboratory testing.

He has been an Executive Trustee of the Ava Foundation, a registered NGO which is committed to advocacy assistance to the underprivileged.
My interests in my occupation are in particular about skills and knowledge transfer and impartation to young Engineers, particularly on construction site work.
He has mentored and continue to mentor many young would-be Engineers in practical skills transfer.
He is an avid Walker and belongs to a Walking Club. Watching Thriller, investigative movies and Discovery Channel are my pastimes.

– 2019: Special Aide: Visit by PVP Yinka Babayola to Ghana with RI President Barry Rassin. He provided support and coordination assistance to PVP Yinka on his trip to accompany RI President Barry to Ghana. It was my responsibility to check his itinerary and arrange for the associated logistics.
– 2019: VIP support: He arranged for the visit by RI President Barry to the Speaker of Parliament and the First Lady HE Rebecca Akufo Addo.
– DTAC Attendance: He has attended about 17 DTACs altogether in my Twenty years of being a Rotarian. In no particular order they are; Ouagadougou, Dakar, Cape Verde, Bamako, Cotonou, Accra, Lome and Niamey.

Ava Foundation: 2010 – 2021
Ava Foundation was founded on the back of Charity work that my late parents had embarked on informally in their lifetime.
In 2010, Ava Foundation was founded to formalize the work of Alice Valenti Amankwah.
This foundation sought and seeks to support the needy in society, especially in the areas of Education and Maternal Health Care support.
Act as a Trustee and key supporter of the foundation.
We have been extremely successful in supporting the education of over Three (300) Hundred children from Primary School through to university.
Philanthropy:
Being an avowed Philanthropist, he has been very supportive of many communities and individuals.
This extends from educational support especially at the tertiary level to needy students to supporting religious institutions to meet targeted social and health needs.
Some of the other key institutions supported including Infanta Malaria and other NGOs.
