District 9104 May Born Rotarians support Child Health
Every month, Rotarians born in a particular month in Rotary District 9104 come together to embark on a project to support the community, a facility or institution or have an activity normally focused around one of the 7 main Areas of Focus for Rotary.
This year, the “May born” Rotarians had a project led by District Governor Florence Maame Hagan, also a May born that kicked off on the 27th of May in collaboration with the Ayawaso East Municipal Health Directorate in Greater Accra at the Ruga CHPS compound.
This was part of the Child Health Promotion Week under the theme: “Every Child Deserves a Healthy Future”

The activities covered Weighing, Immunization for preventable childhood diseases, Polio and Vitamin A supplement, Birth Registration, Malaria control, Education and counselling on breast feeding and balanced affordable nutrition for infants amongst other activities.
The events were coordinated by Dr Victor Hagan and team from the health directorate including nurses, nutritionists and counselors.
A number of May-born Rotarians joined District Governor Florence Maame Hagan in the activities . They also supported the activities in Cash and Kind.
