ROTARY CLUB OF HOHOE COMMISSIONS LIFE-CHANGING BOREHOLE FOR VOLTA SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF AND BLIND

The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Ho came together in style on June 30th, 2025, for their highly anticipated Handover ceremony. The evening was filled with excitement and promise as members gathered to celebrate the transition of leadership.

Rotaractor Japhtha Bobbey passed the torch to Rotaractor Mary Djimah, who was beautifully sworn in as the President of the Rotaract Club of UHAS, Ho, for the 2025/2026 service year by P.P. Simon Awumey. With poise and confidence, President Mary Djimah then inducted the new board members, setting the stage for a year of impactful service.

In her acceptance speech, President Djimah emphasised the importance of collaboration and teamwork, inspiring members to work together towards a common goal. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, leaving a lasting impression.

The highlight of the evening also included R.P. Richard Delali Tetteh’s end-of-year report, where he proudly announced his achievement as a Paul Harris Fellow. He expressed his desire to be pinned at the club’s 40th anniversary and Presidential Ball in August 2025, a testimony of his dedication and commitment.

As the baton was passed to the new leadership, P.E. Maxwell Wallas Affram was installed as R.P. for the 2025/2026 Service year by A.G. Dzameshie. R.P. Affram then swore in the new Club officers and Directors, charging them to unite for the greater good.

In his acceptance speech, R.P. Affram encouraged members to draw inspiration from the club’s 40-year legacy of resilience and sustainability. He urged them to contribute to the club’s growth with passion and consistency, setting a high standard for the year ahead.

The ceremony culminated in a colourful dinner, filled with laughter, networking, and celebration. It was a night that will be etched in the memories of the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Ho for years to come.
