Rotary Ghana Alumni Reconnect Week 2025: Reuniting for Service and Impact
The Rotary Ghana Alumni Association of District 9104 marked Rotary Alumni
Reconnect Week 2025 from 6th to 11th October, celebrating the enduring spirit of
fellowship under the theme “Reuniting for Service and Impact.”
The week-long celebration brought together alumni of Rotary programs, including
Rotaract, Interact, RYLA, and Rotary Scholars to reconnect, share experiences, and
renew their commitment to Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.
Highlights included a virtual launch, a vibrant social media storytelling campaign,
and an engaging Alumni Hangout Night at SOHO, Accra, which featured Former
Second Lady of Ghana, Rtn. Samira Bawumia, as special guest. Her inspiring
address emphasized mentorship, youth empowerment, and service-driven leadership
as vital tools for national development.
The celebration concluded with a meaningful act of service a Breast Cancer
Screening and Awareness Campaign at Madina Market, organized in
collaboration with the Rotary Club of Accra-East and other Rotary and Rotaract
clubs. The outreach offered free screenings and education to hundreds of women
traders, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to disease prevention and women’s health.
Rotary Alumni Reconnect Week 2025 not only rekindled bonds among alumni and
Rotarians but also demonstrated the power of unity in action. The Rotary Ghana
Alumni Association remains dedicated to building a stronger, more connected Rotary
family one that continues to transform communities through service and fellowship.
