In a remarkable show of service and impact, the Rotary Club of Kumasi 4 Garrison has successfully commissioned its Charter Project, a fully equipped ICT Laboratory, at Mansoman Senior High School located in Manso-Atwere in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
The ICT Lab project cost GHS 98,600 and included forty (40) desktop computers, accessories, forty (40) tables and chairs, electrical fittings, as well as fifteen (15) Universal Power Systems (UPS) to foster a modern and conducive learning environment.
The commissioning ceremony on Thursday, 4th September 2025, was characterised by joyful scenes and heartfelt gratitude from students, staff, community members, and Rotarians alike.
The smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries were truly inexplicable as their school, with a population of 1,108 students, received a much-needed technological upgrade to enhance teaching and learning in today’s digital age.
The project reflects the club’s unwavering commitment to Rotary’s Area of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy, and stands as a beacon of empowerment, digital inclusion, and opportunity for young minds in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Led by Charter President Augustine Nkrumah Boateng, the event brought together Rotarians from across the region, local education stakeholders, and community leaders.
This initiative showcases what young Rotary Clubs can achieve through vision, unity, and purposeful service. Rotary Club of Kumasi 4 Garrison, a bilingual and vibrant club, continues to show that we are truly People of Action.
