INTERACT CLUB OF KROBO GIRLS PRESBYTERIAN HIGH SCHOOL IS SHINNING!!!
The Interact Club of Krobo Girls Presbyterian High School (Interact Club of KROGISS) has carried out various projects since its formation. The renowned girls’ school is recognised for its popular slogan “Krobo is Shining”. Interact Club of KROGISS, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Akosombo Dam-City, was chartered on the 7th June 2025.
During the formation of the Club, over 100 prospective members printed out the vision and mission statements of the school and posted them in all classrooms, the Administration, and other buildings on campus on 21 March 2025.
The club, which was still in its formation stage, undertook a tree-planting initiative on the school premises on 4th May 2025.
On the same 4th of May 2025, the Club under formation donated used clothes, washing powder, bar soap, bleach, packs of bottled water, sachets of water, carbonated drinks, biscuits, sweets, wristwatches, exercise books, notebooks, pens, pencils, toiletries and a cash donation of 1,000 Ghana cedis to an orphanage home.
After the inauguration, the Interact Club of KROGISS undertook fundraising to tile the floor, replace the curtains, and paint the school’s sick bay at a cost of GHS 12,000. It was handed over to the school on 29th August 2025.
In celebration of Ghana’s Founders’ Day on 22nd September 2025, the Interact Club of KROGISS and its patrons organised a successful clean-up exercise in the school kitchen. Their initiative to keep the environment clean and hygienic is truly commendable—the true spirit of service above self.
