DISTRICT 9104 GOVERNOR NANA YAA SIRIBOE VISITS THE ROTARY CLUB OF DUNKWA

The Rotary Club of Dunkwa hosted the District Governor, Nana Yaa Siriboe, on an official visit, accompanied by the District Secretary, Assistant Governor Nana Esi Amankwa Adade, Assistant Governor Patricia Effah, and Past Club President Nana Effah, at the Conference Hall of the Dunkwa Municipal Health Directorate.
The District Governor urged members of RC Dunkwa to make effective use of the Rotary Learning Centre by beginning with the essentials, which also support personal and professional growth. The members were encouraged to complete the courses and obtain certification.
Governor Nana Yaa emphasised that the club should increase its current membership to establish effective, functional committees. She urged members to support the Polio Plus Fund and The Rotary Foundation, which can be utilised for disaster relief, water and sanitation, hygiene, literacy, tree planting, skill development, and peace initiatives. The club was encouraged to submit proposals to The Rotary Foundation to secure funding for their projects.
The District Governor discussed the Rotary Action Plan with members, explaining the four focus areas: increasing our impact, expanding our reach, enhancing participant engagement, and increasing our ability to adapt. She encouraged the Club to consider forming Interact and Rotaract Clubs, as well as participating in radio discussions, to broaden its reach and increase visibility through social media platforms, community engagement, and outreach.
RC Dunkwa presented a gift to the District Governor, Nana Yaa Siriboe, who showed gratitude and promised to pay the money gift into the Rotary Foundation on behalf of the club.
