DISTRICT 9104 GOVERNOR NANA YAA SIROBOE VISITS ROTARY CLUB OF TEMA COMMUNITY 25: A DAY OF IMPACT AND INSPIRATION

31st August 2025.

The Rotary Club of Tema Community 25 was filled with excitement and pride as it welcomed District 9104 Governor Nana Yaa Siriboe and her delegation for a memorable visit. From the moment the board meeting began, the energy was palpable, setting the tone for a day that celebrated leadership, generosity, and community spirit.

During her address, Governor Nana Yaa expressed heartfelt appreciation for the club’s unwavering support of district initiatives, applauding both financial contributions and acts of service. She highlighted the club’s commitment to nurturing young leaders, citing Chartered President Elizabeth of the Rotaract Club of Tema Community 25 as a shining example. Her message was clear: young Rotarians must be empowered, mentored, and given opportunities to thrive. She encouraged the club to continue sponsoring Rotaractors to RYLA programmes, emphasising the importance of investing in youth leadership development.

Turning to the Rotary Foundation, the DG commended the club’s strong culture of giving. She referenced PDG Dave Amankwah (ARRFC), who had earlier lauded the club for contributing over 50% of its Annual Fund target within the first two months of the Rotary year. She encouraged members to take advantage of Global Grants and District Designated Funds (DDF) to support impactful, sustainable projects.

The celebration peaked when three Rotarians were honoured as Paul Harris Fellows (PHFs), including two first-time recipients and PE Animah, who achieved PHF +1. PE Animah shared her journey, explaining how she used the Rotary Fundraising Card to raise funds for Polio eradication, an effort that earned her PHF +1 recognition and motivated others to follow suit.

The visit was more than just ceremonial; it served as a testament to the club’s passion, leadership, and commitment to Rotary’s values. Tema Community 25 continues to shine as a beacon of service and fellowship, inspiring others to do more and aim higher.
