ROTARY CLUB OF DUNKWA CELEBRATES ROTARY EDUCATION AND LITERACY MONTH WITH CLUSTER OF SCHOOLS

The Rotary Club of Dunkwa, in collaboration with the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly and the Municipal Education Directorate, celebrated the Rotary Education and Literacy Month in grand style.
The Rotary Club of Dunkwa successfully distributed over 800 copies of three different books, 432 pencils, 260 sharpeners, and 260 erasers to more than 200 pupils of K.G. 1 and B.S. 1 from a cluster of schools within the Dunkwa Circuit.
The Municipal Education Director, Mr Anthony Takyi, was impressed by the kind Rotarian gesture and looks forward to future collaborations.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. George Anane, commended and acknowledged the generous gesture by the Club, including the WASH activities that have already been undertaken in the Municipality.
The collaboration realised an unforgettable MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL experience during the Education and Literacy Month celebration.
