District 9104 Governor Nana Yaa Pokua Siriboe visited the Rotary Club of Obuasi. Rotaractors in Obuasi joined the Rotarians during the visit, demonstrating the true Rotary spirit. DG Nana Yaa Siriboe shared the District Goals with members and encouraged them to Unite for Good. She charged the Rotary members to promote Rotary among the indigenes and workers in town to increase membership, saying, “the more members we bring into Rotary, the more good we can do in our communities”.
The District Secretary, Rotarian Theresa Agbodo, and the Assistant Governor assigned to the club, Patty Effah, were present at the meeting.
Speaking about ways to “Expand Our Reach,” DG Nana Yaa advised the club to focus on targeting women in the market, business owners, and non-professionals, and to hold meetings in local languages when necessary. DG commended the club for inducting new members during the handover and urged the Membership Committee to keep them engaged and support them through continuous learning, such as the upcoming Vibrant Club workshop and Rotary Learning Institute.
